MSMC was established in 1990 under the name Natheer Marine Services. The company sought to create employment for locals and provide manpower and technical support to the Marine Industry in the Arab Gulf Region.
The founder, Abdullah Natheer (an engineer by profession), saw potential for growth ushered in by introduction of vast shipping industries, government ports, off-shore oil & gas exploration, power plants, marine environmental clean-up, as well as marinas and boatyards in the Kingdom, The company started to invest in equipment and increased manpower, recruiting highly skilled and professional people from various countries while at the same time giving priority to the locals.
Gradually, Natheer Marine Services Est. started getting service orders for vessel supply & chartering, vessel manning, diving and dredging services.
Due to its robust gains and expansion programs, Natheer Marine Services Est. was transformed from a small establishment into a formidable Mid-Size Establishment in 2010 and eventually changed its name into Murjan Al Sharq for Marine Contracting Company LLC in the year of 2018.
